Karlos
Carcamo received his MFA from Hunter College
and his BFA
from School of Visual Arts. He has exhibited at PS1/MoMA, Artists Space,
El Museo Del Barrio, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Queens Museum of Art, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning,
and White Box. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times,
Art in America, Time Out New York, Art Asia Pacific, and Sculpture Magazine.
He has been awarded numerous grants and awards including Atlantic
Center for the Arts and a fellowship from the Skowhegan School
of Painting
and Sculpture. He was the creator and curator
of Bronco 89, a series of mobile video exhibitions and is the co-director of Go North: A Space
for Contemporary Art in Beacon, New York.
